Associate Professor of Law

Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma is an Associate Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala. Before joining as Associate Professor at RGNUL, he has served as Associate Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. He has served Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab from 2012-2021 as Assistant Professor of Law. Before joining, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, he worked as Lecturer in Law in Department of Law, Guru Nanak Dev University, Regional Campus, Jalandhar and St. Soldier Institute of Law. He pursued his graduation in Commerce, LL.B. and LL.M. from Guru Nanak Dev University. He was awarded certificate of merit for securing second position in Guru Nanak Dev University in LL.B. He has undertaken his Ph.D. on the Topic ‘Centre-State Financial Relations: An Analytical Study’.

 

He has drafted new innovative course curriculum at RGNUL and displayed new teaching techniques in teaching procedural laws. He has successfully guided Ph.D. candidate and more than 20 LL.M. dissertations. He has been appointed visiting faculty Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi for 2019-20. Keeping in view his expertise in Procedural laws, he has been invited to deliver lectures to aspirants of judicial services by IAS Training Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh and; IAS Training Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala.


He has Authored and Published a Book on Fiscal Federalism and Indian Constitution. He has edited books on Minorities and Law in India : Issues and Challenges; Menace of Corruption and Black Money in India : Issues and Perspectives and; An Introduction to Teaching Methods in Higher Education.


He has authored more than 27 papers in reputed journals and books. He has also contributed towards development of four quadrant e-Modules/Chapters in UGC ePG Pathshala – An MHRD Project under its National Mission on Education and MOOCs. He has contributed 22 chapters to UGC ePG-Pathshala and MOOCs.


He has attended numerous professional development training programmes and workshops. He has been invited to deliver lectures in more than 20 seminars, induction programmes, webinars and training programmes. He has organized national and international conferences and workshops. He has presented research papers in eight international conferences and 32 national and regional seminars/conferences. This apart, he has attended 17 workshops, seminars and conferences. He has chaired sessions in 17 national and international seminars and conferences and adjudged 25 moot court and other competitions.
