Dr. Ishita Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law, at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Punjab. Prior to joining RGNUL, she has worked as an Assistant Professor at School of Law, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun. She is a Gold Medalist in her Masters from RGNUL, with Constitutional Law specialisation and has completed her graduation from Amity Law School Delhi , affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Her doctoral research is on Emerging Dimensions of the Writ of Habeas Corpus from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She has published papers in Scopus Indexed as well as UGC CARE journals. She has also participated and presented papers in National as well as International Conferences. She has also been invited as a resource person at several panel discussions at National level as well as judged national as well as international moot court , ADR competitions. Her areas of specialisation are Constitutional Law, International Law, Human Rights and Gender Justice.
