MS. JASMINE KAUR
Assistant Professor of Economics
Ms. Jasmine Kaur has been a faculty at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab since 2015. She did her M.Phil. and M.A. (Economics) from Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She was awarded a gold medal for securing first position in Master of Philosophy (Economics) by Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2016. She has qualified NET examination. She is pursuing Ph.D. on ‘Growth and Performance of Organised and Unorganised Micro and Small Manufacturing Enterprises in Punjab: A Case Study of Ludhiana’ from Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development, Chandigarh.
Her areas of interest are Development Economics, Microeconomics and Industrial Economics. She has organized several national and international conferences and workshops at RGNUL. She has presented a number of papers in the national and international conferences and has participated in several workshops. Her research papers are published in various journals. She has also been a resource person in many national and international conferences.
Currently, she is the Public Relation Officer at RGNUL. She is also the Editor of RGNUL Social Science Review (RSSR), a bi-annual peer reviewed journal. She is a member of several academic committees such as Academic Assistance Committee, Scholarship Committee, Prospectus Committee, Website Committee, Annual Report Committee, etc. at RGNUL.
