Assistant Professor of Law
Dr Gagan Preet is working as Assistant Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, Patiala. She has a teaching experience of 15 years. She has been associated with teaching of various law subjects at both graduate as well as post-graduate classes. She has been teaching Family Law, Law and Medicine and Criminal Law subjects. Her areas of interest are Family Law, Criminal Law, and Law and Medicine and Human Rights. Before joining RGNUL, she has practiced in District Courts Patiala and Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh. She has also served as Lecturer in imminent institutions. She was worked as a lecturer with a premier institute of the North India for the training of jail personnel and has imparted training in the field of law and criminology to the various batches of the jail officials from Punjab, Chandigarh and Tihar Jail. She has a number of publications to her credit and has also participated in a number of National and International seminars, conferences and workshops. She is also associated with developing E-Content for both Post Graduate as well as Under-Graduate Courses. She has also been associated with coordinating the Research Projects for the First Four Years of B.A., LL.B. At present, she is the member of Editorial Board of RLR and Internal Complaint Committee of RGNUL.
